Many of our pupils are 17 and taking their first lessons. Teaching a young person one-to-one in a car carries a duty of care, and we take it seriously.
Our commitments
- Every instructor holds a current Enhanced DBS certificate and is a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor.
- Every tuition vehicle is fitted with dual controls, so the instructor can brake or steer at any moment.
- Every tuition vehicle carries full driving-instruction insurance covering pupils during lessons and, where booked, during the practical test.
- Instructors do not contact pupils under 18 on personal social media accounts. Communication about lessons goes through our business phone, WhatsApp business number or email.
- Lessons start and end at agreed locations. We will not change a young person’s pickup or drop-off point without telling the parent or guardian where one is involved.
- Parents and guardians are welcome to observe a lesson by prior arrangement.
- We do not photograph a pupil under 18 without the agreement of their parent or guardian.
